John Deere Campus Recrutiment -2008

The position of John Deere in Fortune 500 is 98.
Their eligibility criteria is 6 spi in all the semesters and 60% in 10th and 12th.


The written test consists of Tech(25 qs) and aptitude(20 qs)
aptitude was easy and the tech paper consists of mainly manufacturing science, heat and mass transfer, quality control.

As the job is R&D they are mainly concentrating on strength of materials, machine design, CAD.

Some of the interview questions:
1.Draw the manufacturing process flow chart
2.By seeing an engine how one can distinguish whether it is an SI engine or CI engine.
